Ingredients:
for dough
all-purpose flour 300g
pinch of salt
hot water 170g
for filling:
minced meat 370g
napa cabbage 200g
soy sauce 1tbsp
water 2tbsp
white pepper 1tsp
oil 2tbsp
sesame oil 1/2 tsp
ginger 2tsp
garlic 1tsp
chilli oil 1/2 tsp
green onion 1/2 cup
mushroom 1/2 cup
cornstarch 1tbsp
dipping sauce: as needed
soy sauce
chilli oil
sesame oil or oil
cilantro
ginger
green onion
sesame seeds
Notes:
1. make sure the pan is well seasoned or use a nonstick pan otherwise dumpling could stick and break.
2. after pouring water cover the lid immediately to trap the steam inside.
3. keep the heat medium so that the water doesn't dry out too fast. if it happens you can add some more water.
4.don't roll the wrappers too thin.
